I’ve had lunch at Marie’s for years now. My team had a large training event catering to executives of large corporations and nonprofits and didn’t want to serve standard, convention quality food. Because time was short and other logistics, we wanted high quality boxed lunches including Marie’s fantastic sandwiches, salads, cookies and amazing lemonade. We celebrated my friends 40th birthday in Vegas. I came across your site and read the testimonial and was hooked by the selection of food and the beautiful cakes. My play sister was having a bachelorette party and wanted to do it in Vegas since she's never been. I threw a surprise 60th birthday party for my husband Ron with friends flying in from 7 different states. We live in California and anytime you do anything from out of town or over the internet it's risky. I found Marie's on the internet and Todd was so incredibly helpful! The cake was the hit of the party! The detail work was so fun! I chose the "60" theme cake which was decorated in his 2 favorite things - fishing and billiards! You folks did the wedding cake for my wedding last February 24th at the Rainforest Cafe in Las Vegas. There are no words to describe not only how beautiful the cake was but the TASTE!!!!!!!! I've lived in Las Vegas since 1973 and until the last year have always known I went to the best bakery. Was I ever wrong! I really didn't know that I could actually like the taste of a pretty cake until I tried yours. I didn't know just how "artsy" cakes could be until I gave you two free reign to design your hearts out. I found Marie's on the internet, having used another long time local bakery for many years. I was a little hesitant, but I must say, I am so glad I took a chance. I was new to Las Vegas and needed a special birthday cake for my wifes birthday. It was a big one. I found Todd at work and asked him for a special cake for a special wife. You created a masterpiece for my father's birthday. Each and every one of my family members shared the same expression of surprised delight when the wait staff at Bouchon restaurant presented the grand, full-sheet tiramisu cake, perfectly shaped in the number 70. To the Staff of Marie's Gourmet Bakery, Wedding cake is the most important part of the wedding or at least that is what my mother has told me since I was a young girl. I am new to Las Vegas and was not sure where to go. A local bakery was highly recommended but I wanted to check out my options. After testing two local bakeries, my family, bridal party, fiancée and I had an appointment at Marie's. Once we tried the cakes, we all knew this was the place that was going to make our wedding cake! It is rare that you can get an entire wedding party to agree on anything. But with the quality of the cakes that Marie's has to offer, it was easy for all of us to agree on the wedding cake! With the experience that I had with the wedding cake, I had to order my co-workers birthday cake from Marie s. As soon as the first piece was served, everyone asked where this delicious cake was from. They were blown away for the exquisite taste and quality. For the next two weeks, at least once a day, I had co-workers asking Where was the cake from? Of course I had to brag on Marie's. Now everyone wants to be invited to my wedding just for the cake! In my opinion, you will not find a better quality cake or better staff to help with your bakery needs. We want to thank you for the awesome job you did on our Scroll cake for our wedding back in October 2003. We were from CA and came down for a weekend to plan stuff for our wedding. We just so happend to find Marie's Bakery and decided to stop. What a blessing it was to have done that, because we had the oppertunity to meet Todd!! He was so helpful and nice and within minutes, we had the exact idea cake we never expected to even find or get!! We had a Medieval themed wedding at the Excalibur, and Todd made us the perfect "Scroll" wedding cake. I picked out the saying/verse for my cake and he wrote it on the scroll. It was beautiful!!! Dear Marie's, I want to thank you so much for such a wonderful wedding cake. Not only was it gorgeous with the red roses and ribbons, but it was perfect. Due to my milk allergy, I cannot have most pastry, but since you were able to craft a dairy-free cake, I was able to enjoy cake on my wedding day! This cake was also the most delicious cake I have ever eaten. And my guests thought so too! It was fluffy and light, and the strawberries were a nice surprise. Thank you once again! I recently visited Las Vegas with my mother to celebrate her 79th birthday. I called you the week before to arrange a birthday cake as a surprise for her. It was promptly delivered to Delmonico's Steakhouse and served at our table after dinner. It was a magnificent round, chocolate cake with three rose buds on top. It brought a smile to my mother's face and created a special memory for my mother's birthday. My sincere thanks for all of your help and assistance in making this birthday special for her.
